This pantry exists to bring glory to God in obedience to our Lord’s command to feed the hungry by providing emergency food and clothing assistance to people and helping them connect to the greater resources of Assure Ministries and the social service network, if needed.

We have many congregations and groups that support The Christian Food Pantry of Sherrills Ford.
Food Pantry and Clothes Closet
The Christian Food Pantry of Sherrills Ford provides emergency food assistance in the Sherrills Ford area. The pantry is housed at Hopewell Methodist Church. The Christian Food Pantry is a local non profit program and it is not associated with any governmental programs. 98% of the money and food goods donated or collected go straight to those in need.
Ways you can volunteer
We welcome volunteers! Here are some ways you can help.
- Make an individual food or money donation.
- Invite your organization or neighborhood group to donate food and/or money, household products, personal care items, and feminine products monthly or quarterly.
- Volunteer to work in the pantry during open hours.
All money donations are tax deductible. Checks may be made out to the Christian Food Pantry of Sherrills Ford. You will be sent a thank you and the tax ID number.
